Pregnancy Miracle has quickly gained a rather large following in the 12 or so months since its release. This 277 page tome was authored by Lisa Olson, whose personal struggles to get pregnant, even in defiance of her doctor who said it would never happen, led her to tirelessly collect and collate the mounds of information present in the book. More important, she was not only the author of Pregnancy Miracle, but its first success story as well, as she has become pregnant twice since writing this book and using the information in it personally.

While she may have been the first success story, she is certainly not the last, as hundreds, perhaps even thousands of women have happily shared their own personal successes across the internet. While it would be impossible to touch on everything the book chronicles, let’s take a brief tour through the book and hit just some of its high points.
Firstly, as mentioned, the book is written by Lisa Olson, and she opens the book by detailing her own personal trials with attempted pregnancy, and the lengths she went to try to combat her infertility, all of which came to naught. Right from the start of the book you can feel the passion and determination Lisa has, and her reverence for the subject.
Pregnancy Miracle is split into six chapters, and after this introductory section, the book kicks off in earnest with a look at both the male and female anatomy, and a detailed analysis of how babies are made (slightly more in-depth than the clichéd “birds and bees”), and what can go wrong during this process.
The next two chapters take a deeper look at the issue of fertility, or infertility as it were, and how the medical professions in the east and west view the issue markedly differently. This section is a fascinating journey into the distinct thought patterns of two very different cultures.
Chapter four is the real heart of Pregnancy Miracle. This chapter is over 100 pages of step by step planning to take you from infertility, to bearing healthy children. Just some of the topics touched upon include maximizing your nutritional intake, detoxifying your body, acupuncture, and Qi Gong exercises. Chapter five also goes hand in hand with this chapter, as it details other things to consider while going through with the planning in chapter four, such sleeping patterns, and proper breathing techniques.
Lastly, Pregnancy Miracle takes a hard look at some special considerations which may be in play for some of the book’s readers, such as getting pregnant at an advanced age, and dealing with miscarriages. In the final appendixes are sections on alternative medicine and in vitro fertilization.
Pregnancy Miracle is a well-written and compelling book on fertility, and an absolute must-buy for anyone who’s struggled in the past with infertility, or those trying to get pregnant for the first time who want to do it the right way with no fuss.
